Dallas Boys Senior Portraits
Senior Portraits Examples of Boys with a Fashion and Creative Style
Dallas boys Senior Portraits is something that we specialize in. Not just with our Fashion Sports Portraits, but working with guys in general to create magazine worthy creative pictures that represent your personal style and what you love to do most. Below you are going to see a sampling of some of the photos we have taken throughout a 15 year career in photography.
At Jeff Dietz Photography, we feel that the boys should also have an amazing experience just like the girls. Many studios shy away from photographing the boys, where we thrive on it. We have so many ideas yet to explore and can’t wait to meet with you to start on our next adventure.

A Theatre student at McKinney that we photographed with his friends. We photographed this one in their practice room called the “black box” in the high school. McKinney this year should be celebrating the opening of their new performance center. The inspiration for these boys senior portraits was the look of the Oscars portraits that are done each year for Vanity Fair magazine.
Rocco came inside for some studio portraits after his Fashion Sports Portraits. He is a senior at McKinney North High School.
Preston is also a member of the theatre department at McKinney High and was also one of their school spirit leaders that would help lead the pep rallies and other events like the school talent show.
This old trunk lives in our studio and makes for a great rustic prop to give your Dallas boys senior portraits a pop, The red color mixed with the wear and tear of the trunk give is that perfect look, paired with an outfit from Zara.
Pioneer Plaza in downtown Dallas is a great place for senior portraits. It just screams Texas with the steer monuments and longhorns. We love the edginess of this look that makes you feel like you are ready to take on the city.
Sometimes a great sky is all you need for a great backdrop. Since we are experts in how to use off camera flash lighting, we are able to get photos like this and excel in any condition.
This blue plaid sports coat from Zara is a nice contrast to the rustic nature of the red trunk. It makes the colors pop against our hand-painted backdrops from England.
Photographed on a horse farm to the north of Prosper Texas. Nothing looks more like Texas than a senior portrait session on the farm with a belt buckle and cowboy hat. The pose works great here by hanging on to the rope as a natural prop.
In studio for your boy’s senior portraits can be a lot of fun. Not to mention it’s a great way to avoid the heat on those hot summer days. Our style and lighting work perfectly with these types of photo sessions.
Photographed against some buildings in downtown Dallas. What works is turning the picture to black and white and focusing on the contrast areas of the black suit, mixed with the monochrome building, grass, and sky. It all works and looks like it belongs in a watch advertisement.
He has a real Heath Ledger type of look to him. The slightly messed up hair, mixed with the black jacket, casual pose and mystery in the eyes, all comes together for this Oscar-worthy portrait of the McKinney Theatre department.
Another photo from the farm north of Prosper High School with this senior boy. We have a way of working with guys to help them look natural and to have poses that make them feel like a million bucks.
Photographed against a random wall while in Uptown Dallas. Sometimes that is all you need and you have an outdoor studio ready to go.
The leather jacket mixed with the white patterned shirt and white background worked out perfectly for this black and white senior portrait. As you can see it just adds layers of monochrome contrast and really catches the eye.
One of the favorites from the photo shoot on the horse farm closer to Anna Texas. Rustic editing in the tone of the photograph also helps lend to the overall feel and style.
In studio black and white photos are always a classic choice for any boys senior portraits.
This boulder wall at Pioneer Plaza in Dallas is bursting with contrast when photographed in Black and white. All of the details and layering add to this senior portrait.
Often we like to put two different photographs like this together for senior portraits. This would work really well in one of our wall art collections as well. The photo on the left shows downtown Dallas to give a context of where the photo shoot took place. Then we zoom in for a close-up portrait on the right to compliment the look and story.
This Dallas boys senior portrait screams Texas with the cowboy hat, belt buckle, and swagger of the pose itself. The sky dabbled with clouds makes for a perfect backdrop.
Since they did their senior pictures together, at the end of the shoot we wanted to have some added fun of doing a few group photos with his friends. What great memories together as they work tons of hours on writing and directing their own plays. This photo was inspired by the promotional photos for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Photographed in the fun downtown square in McKinney Texas. We love strolling around the city and seeing all of the great little shops and restaurants. We love to get our dry rubs at Loco Cowpoke. Look for some blog posts soon featuring a bunch of other local shops we have photographed in downtown historic McKinney
