This past year we opened up a whole new area with a rush of bookings from the Grapevine area. We had a few seniors from Grapevine Faith Christian as well as Grapevine High. Check out the photos below and get a hold of us for your senior portraits.
First up we have Jaxson. Jaxson was a member of the soccer team for Grapevine Faith Christian School. For part one of his photos we went to the soccer field at the high school. Further down the page you will also see his second part that took place at the Grapevine botanical gardens.
I really like the creative shots that we did of Jaxson inside the net. We wanted to take a different angle that you don’t normally see. (as you can also see in the main cover image of this post)
In the past we had not photographed a lot of senior soccer players but it is fun to add more seniors from this sport into the mix.
Jack and Jaxson. Those are some interesting odds that their names are so close, both Grapevine senior portraits and we photographed them back to back.
As you can tell, they do play on the soccer team together. Jack is in the banner photo at the very top of the page and it was one of my favorite photos. I didn’t know if it would work or not, but it was fun idea to use the net almost like a hammock.
Check out more of Jack’s Grapevine senior portraits below.
Both Jaxson and Jack went to Grapevine Botanical Garden for the second part of their photoshoot. It was my first time at the gardens and I really liked how it was laid out and provided a lot of variety in backdrops in a smaller space.
I tend to use elements in my photos that others might not think of. For instance, this row of hedges looked fancy to me. Almost like a wealthy estate. So I decided to use it as a part of the photo to add something special to the photo and take us out of it feeling too much like a typical community park.
Funny story. Jaxson and Jack’s photos were taken one week apart. From the time we were there for Jaxson’s photos and came back for Jack’s, a big massive tree behind the one you see him sitting on, was hit by lightening during the big storm and took down the whole tree. We had a laugh “wasn’t that tree there the other day?”
Next, we take a look at Barrett’s senior portraits. Barrett was a senior at Grapevine High. We decided to go to downtown Dallas for his portraits. Below are a few of what we captured as we walked around the streets. I love the simple yet powerful nature of these portraits. The slight expressions is really what elevates them.
Downtown Dallas is a vibrant and dynamic area, filled with unique architecture, modern art installations, and urban landscapes that provide a variety of settings for Grapevine High School senior portraits. The mix of historic buildings and contemporary skyscrapers offers a rich visual contrast that can make senior portraits stand out.
If you want to see even more soccer seniors you can head over to this post with Chris, the Rockwall Senior goalie
