Ashley in Studio - Lone Star Frisco Senior Portraits

Lone Star High School Senior Pictures - McKinney, TX

In the studio for a really fun fashion inspired photoshoot for Ashley’s  Lone Star Frisco Senior Portraits! This shoot was a lot of fun. We don’t get a ton of people that want in-studio sessions, which is odd given the head of North Texas. But I wanted this to feel like a fashion spread for Elle Magazine. Fun and youthful fashion. Ashley's Outfits - Lone Star Frisco Senior

We worked with Ashley and her parents to come up with some fun fashion outfits for her senior portrait session. These clothes come from places like Forever 21 and Love Culture at the mall. I loved the different textures in the outfits from the fuzzy jacket to the sequins and tassels on the dress.

I wanted to take these outfits and do a matching tone with the background. I found this brownish orange background paper that worked perfectly with the beige and gold of the outfit. Add in some fun music and energy and you have some awesome photos.

Total we had 5 different outfits. This is a major perk of doing an in-studio photoshoot for your senior portraits. You can get a lot more outfits in the time allotted.

Pretty In Pink

The second look for her Lone Star Frisco Senior portraits was this soft white lace top. I wanted to work with something subtle in the outfit and use the backdrop to bring in most of our color. I had been wanting to use this pink background for a while now and this was a great opportunity to do so.

Focusing on tighter beauty shots like these are all about the expression and mood. This can be one of the hardest things to capture and for people who have never done a photoshoot before. Ashley did a great job. I think that is one of our strengths that we know how to put people at ease in front of our camera.

Third Look in Our Series

With a slight change in the lighting, this backdrop turned more from the orange side to the browns. It worked well with this beige outfit.

I love the flow of this skirt and how we were able to put a lot of action and movement into her poses. This was another find at Love Culture, who have a trendy style.

Two More Outfits with our Hand Painted Canvas Backdrops

To finish out the photoshoot we stepped into some fun pants outfits. On the left, we have a pair of black suspender slacks with a button-down white shirt. There is a lot of flexibility in an outfit like this where you can roll up the sleeves or unbutton the collar.

The second outfit is a lot of fun on the right with a ruffled slightly midriff top and bright red accent pants. The midriffs are very popular right now and this is a nice way of showing off that fashion while still remaining age-appropriate.

Next Blog Post

Next up we have a few more blog posts focusing on indoor fashion shoots. We are then going to have some special posts talking about the beginning of the 2019 Football season and all the games that are upcoming this week. We have some live-action shots from the practice at Prosper’s brand new stadium and the meet the Eagles event.
