At the home of the Fashion Sports Portraits, football has been one of our most popular sports to photograph. We are just a few weeks away from the kick-off of the high school football season. We can’t wait! Each year we get to go out to a bunch of games across DFW and cheer on our seniors! I wanted to put together a post celebrating all of the football players that we have photographed over the last few years.
I hope that it can serve as not only a resource for you when planning your senior portraits, but also some inspiration for what we can create together.

One of the first questions we get is: “Where do we take our senior pictures?”
The answer is: “Where would you like to go?”
That sounds like a short answer but that really is the truth. We are here to help you select a location that best fits your style and what YOU would like to have for your photos.
The two main decisions are, would you like to have your senior pictures on the football field or have them done off the field? Once you decide that things become much easier.
Dallas Texas has beautiful football stadiums for us to work in both large or small. Senior moms will often worry that there is not enough variety to be had at the field alone.
There is a ton of variety to capture right on the field. We will photograph your son on the field, the sidelines, bleachers, around practice equipment, from the top of the stadium, or possibly even from outside the stadium. The ideas are endless.
The Key Difference: With choosing the football field for your senior pictures, your entire session will be centered around your sport. This is not a bad thing. Football has likely been a very large part of your son’s life for the past 10+ years.
When we take your football portraits off the field, you really can go anywhere that you like. Downtown Dallas is probably our most requested location, but we can find a place right in your own town.
The Key Difference: When we are off the field, we are incorporating a little bit of the sport into the photoshoot vs it being the main focus of the pictures. For instance, you might bring your football with you into downtown, but also want a variety of photos not centered around football.
This is also a personal choice. So let’s break it down into each season and it’s pros and cons.
